Hij is geboren in het jaar 1600 .
Siabbe BRONNES van DIJCKHUIS, geboren tussen 1580 en
1603 (?), wonende te Engelbert (Gr.), overleden tussen 14 maart 1674 en 22
mei 1674, 71 jaar tot 94 jaar oud, zoon van Bronne PETERS (landbouwer en
kerkvoogd te Engelbert en bijzitter van het gerecht te Selwerd) en Grietje
BRUNTS.
Hij wordt in 1630 op de sedert 1903 niet meer aanwezige torenklok te
Engelbert vermeld als kerkvoogd (GDW nr. 1142).
In 1672 wordt zijn vermogen op fl. 20.000,= geschat, waardoor hij verplicht
werd fl. 200,= bij te dragen aan de verplichte lening van de honderdste
penning, die was opgelegd vanwege de belegering van Groningen door de
Munsterse en Keulse troepen.
Hij is overleden in het jaar 1674 , hij was toen 74 jaar oud.
