Bij het huwelijk van Georg Wensel Nieswaag en Johanna Prins zijn twee getuigen aanwezig, t.w. een oudere broer van de echtgenoot, Andreas Nieswaag [geb. 1893] en verder Willem de Valk, arbeider van beroep. Op de akte staat niet welke relatie er bestaat tussen de Valk en bruid/bruidegom maar waarschijnlijk vertegenwoordigt hij de bruid.

De reden dat Nieswaag mij interesseert, is dat hij chauffeur voor de Sicherheitsdienst [SD] was op het Scholtenhuis in Groningen, van 1943 tot en met 1945. In die hoedanigheid is hij tot de doodstraf veroordeeld, maar hij kreeg gratie en zijn straf werd omgezet in levenslang en later nog verder verkort.
Nieswaag was vooral een meeloper; hij heeft niet echt mensen mishandeld. In die positie zat hij ook niet want hij was 'slechts' chauffeur, geen politieman.

Vermelding vanaf 1947: De Groninger kamer van het Bijzonder Gerechtshof te Leeuwarden veroordeelde de 43-jarige chauffeur Georg Wensel Nieswaag te Groningen wegens moord op den Groninger advocaat en procureur mr. J.F.S. Domela Nieuwenhuis Nijegaard
