Arnoldus werd in juni 1705 lidmaat in Groningen, woonde toen in de Lammehuingestraat. Eind 1709 (ra III ij 16-12-1709) verdeelt Trijntien met zwager Reinder Scheerhoorn de boedel van haar overleden zuster Stijntien. Trijntien wordt dan vermeld als weduwe.
Arnoldus laat bij zijn overlijden na "een Hües en Kremers wynckel" (bron: Weeskamer 1712/21 – Arnoldus Botsema en Trienintien Mijddendorp)
Elsjen Harmens Mulder, weduwe van Jannes Trox verklaart in haar testament (ra III ij 30-04-1705) dat zij alles na laat aan stiefdochter Willemina Trox, huisvrouw van Arnoldus Bootsma.
