Die WELLER von Molsdorf sind ein vornehmes, uraltes Geschlecht, welches aus Thâºringen ins Vogtland kam und sich nachher in Meiâüen sehr ausbreitete und in hohem Ansehen stand. Es gingen daraus nicht nur "arte et marte" in Wissenschaft und Kriegswesen hochberâºhmte Mâ§nner hervor, die sich an die vornehmsten adligen Geschlechter in Meiâüen vermâ§hlten, es suchten sich auch hochadlige Geschlechter mit den WELLERschen zu befreunden, wie solches aus den Historien bekannt ist. Georg WELLERs Vater Jacob starb frâºhzeitig. Der Vormund lieâü ihn daher das Bâ§ckerhandwerk erlernen, wobei er blieb und das Meisterrecht erlangte. In seinen mâ§nnlichen Jahren erregte sich aber das adlige Geblâºt, und als er in Erfahrung brachte, daâü er aus dem erwâ§hnten edlen Stamm herkomme, wollte er sich als Edler Knecht erweisen und die fastverdunkelte adlige Klarheit lâ§utern. Er begab sich deshalb in den Ungarischen Krieg gegen die Tâºrken, erst mit 5, ein zweites Mal mit 4 Pferden, wovon er das letzte Mal mit guter Beute, aber auch vielen Wunden und einer durch eine Lanze gelâ§hmten rechten Hand nach hause kam.So kam der durch Armut bedeckte Helm und der niedergeschlagene Schild wieder zur Erhebung und er bediente sich des erlernten Handwerks nicht weiter.
