    Teunis wordt opgeroepen voor de Dienst. Hij komt in de lichting van 1892 en door loting wordt hij ingedeeld bij het 1e Regiment Vesting artillerie.
    Op 15 juni 1893 komt hij thuis, met groot verlof.
    Tijdens zijn verlof trouwt hij en keert na vijf dagen terug naar de kazerne.
    Drie weken later komt hij weer thuis, met groot verlof.
    (In 1899 wordt hem een paspoort gegeven 'wegens beeindigen van de dienstplicht'' Er staat bij vermeld dat hij zich correct heeft gedragen)
    Vlak voor zijn huwelijk laat hij een testament opmaken in Wijk bij Duurstede.

    Signalement: Lengte 1.65 meter. ovaal gezicht, grijze ogen, normale mond en neus, ronde kin, blond haar en verder geen bijzondere kenmerken.

    In 1898 vertrokken Teunis, Jacoba en de kleine Marietje naar Cothen. Jacoba was hoogzwanger en een maand later wordt in Cothen Roelofje geboren.
    Het gezin bleef in Cothen wonen. Teunis vond er werk als tuinbaas.

    Tijdens de volkstelling van 31 december 1879 woonde hij bij zijn ouders aan de Traay 148 Wijk B te Driebergen.
    20 januari 1895 Wijk A nr 203 te Driebergen.
    Op 29 augustus 1895 kocht hij een stuk bouwgrond , groot 17 aren, van Willem Kirpestein gelegen aan de Traay te Driebergen. Kadastraal bekend Gemeente Driebergen sectie B 1408 en B 1409 voor de prijs van ¹ 300,--.
    Een bepaling was dat het nimmer tot kerkhof of begraafplaats mocht worden aangelegd, veel minder dat het daarvoor zal mogen worden gebruikt. In de periode tussen aankoop van de grond en verkoop op 14 juli 1898 heeft hij een huis met schuur en varkenshok, genaamd "Boschzicht" laten bouwen. Via een openbare verkoping op 14 juli 1898 is dit geheel, kadastraal bekend Gemeente Driebergen, sectie B 1565, verkocht voor de somma van ¹ 2.525,--.

    15 april 1898 vertrokken naar Cothen nr 49a later nr 56 en daarna nummer 58.
    12 november 1937, komende uit Cothen en gegaan naar Driebergen-Rijssenburg Nassaulaan 8. Dit pand kocht hij op 16 juli 1934 van Willem Boot, via notaris Johannes van Raalten te Driebergen, voor de somma van ¹ 5.000,--.
    Kadastraal bekend Gemeente Driebergen sectie B 4438.

    1 november 1939 vertrokken naar Dalweg 21 te Zeist

Hij benoemd daarin zijn aanstaande echtgenote tot enig erfgenaam.

Den 12 maart 1892 ingedeeld als loteling van de lichting van 1892 uit de gemeente Driebergen e.a. onder Utrecht onder nummer 3 in het 1e Regiment Vesting artillerie.
Den 15 juni 1893 met groot verlof.
Den 29 mei 1894 Terug. 30 juni 1894 met groot verlof.
Lengte 1.655 meter. Aangezicht Ovaal, Voorhoofd gewoon, Oogen grijs, Neus gewoon, Mond gewoon, Kind rond en wenkbrauwen n haar waren blond en hij had geen merkbare tekenen.
Den 11 mei 1899 met paspoort wegens geëindigde militie diensttijd. Het bewijs van goed gedrag afgegeven.
Omdat ik niet weet in welk bataljon hij ingedeeld was kan ik geen plaats bepalen waar hij gelegerd was.
