    Op 11 maart 1907 zijn zij naar Amersfoort vertrokken. In de burgerlijke stand van Amersfoort is echter niets te vinden.
    Woonde volgens het adresboek 1931-1932 woonde hij aan de Wethouderslaan 9 te Driebergen. De naam "Wethouderslaan" is op 30 oktober 1900 bij Raadsbesluit vastgesteld. De laan is (1996) met klinkers bestraat en heeft geen trottoirs. Langs de straat staan veelal kleine woningen, waarvan de meeste per twee onder één kap zijn gebracht. De meeste huizen hebben een voor- en achtertuin.
    Op 1 mei 1931 woonde hij aan de Secretarislaan 18 of 31 te Driebergen.

In 1906 was Evert Steenhof lid van het muziekgezelschap "Aurora". Zie daarvoor een foto in het boekje "Kent u ze nog..... De Driebergenaren en Rijsenburgers" uit 1972.
Nationale Militie: ligting 1895 te Driebergen lotingsnummer 1 op 8 maart 1895 ingelijfd en op zijn trouwdag nog in dienst.
Lengte 1,666 meter, Aangezicht rond,voorhoofd rond, ogen grijs, neus breed enz. Boeknummer 33818.
9 februari 1896 met groot verlof;
8 juni 1897 weer terug;
10 juli 1897 met groot verlof;
2 augustus 1903 bestemd voor de dienst bij de Landweer en overgegaan naar de afdeling Landweer Vestingartillerie in het 18e district. (Van een district is niets te vinden in het NA Den Haag, je moet nl. een regimentsnaam weten)
