Op 05-05-1761 doet zoon Jacobus aangifte van het overlijden van Jan Thomasse en begraaft hem op de Karthuizer Begraafplaats te Amsterdam. Jan Thomasse woonde bij overlijden op ''t Haarlemmerplijn' te Amsterdam.
