Maria is geboren in Helmond op 24 januari 1862 als natuurlijke dochter van Elisabeth Jacoba.
Zij blijft in Helmond wonen bij haar grootmoeder Maria Josepha Demaison tot april 1864.
In 1863 staat zij echter ingeschreven in Amsterdam, Kattenburgerstraat 181, bij haar moeder en “stiefvader” Cristiaan Laurentius Hanenberg. Ze woont er tot mei 1877. Dan gaat zij als dienstbode werken.

3.Hendrina Maria Josephina van Elmpt, geboren te Amsterdam, Blankenstraat 21, op 31 maart 1892.
4.Elisabeth Jacoba Maria van Elmpt geboren te Amsterdam, 2e van Swindenstraat 121, op 8 oktober 1894.
5.Franciscus Johannes van Elmpt geboren te Amsterdam, Pieter Nieuwlandstraat 7, op 7 april 1897.
6.Albertus Jacobus van Elmpt geboren in Amsterdam, 3e Oosterparkstraat 169,op 2 mei 1902; Hij overlijdt in Amsterdam op 6 december 1963. Hij huwt op 17 augustus 1927 te Amsterdam Catharina Johanna Wendt. Hij is koffiebrander.
