Van 5 september 1864 tot 16 januari 1867 staat zij ingeschreven in Vlissingen als dienstbode (document van gemeente Vlissingen). Zij vertrekt dan naar Amsterdam waar zij op 27 maart 1872 huwt met Christiaan Laurentius Hanenberg, smid bij de marine.
