C.A. van der Linden is nadien gehuwd met Johannes Maas, geboren 17 Feb 1916 te oosterhout NB en overleden te Dongen op 10 Dec 1982. J. Maas is werkzaam geweest als fabrieksarbeider. Adres Kanaalstraat te Dongen. Uit dit huwelijk zijn nog drie kinderen geboren; Piet, Wil en Annelies Maas.

C.A. v.d. Linden schonk op zeventienjarige leeftijd het leven aan zoon Gerard M. v.d. Linden nadien Maas.
De geboorte vond plaats te Ginneken en Bavel (heden Breda) op 3 Feb 1938, in het toen genaamde "Moederheil" een opvangtehuis voor ongehuwde moeders. (tegenwoordig "Valkenhorst" genaamd). Zoon Gerard zou hier vier jaren gaan verblijven, zodat zij haar leven op orde zou kunnen brengen. Op 18 Mei 1940 werd het "Moederheil" geconfisqueerd door de Duitse bezetter. Hierdoor moest C.A. v.d. Linden zelf haar zoon verzorgen. C.A. v.d. Linden woonde bij haar moeder, Elisabeth van Haperen, in de Klokkenlaan A347 te Loon op Zand, tegenover het destijds genaamde Kasteel van Loon op Zand (hedendaags "Het Witte Kasteel"). Hier heeft zij samen met haar zoon Gerard gewoond tot 15 Jul 1945, het jaar van haar huwelijk met Johannes Maas. Haar huwelijk vond plaats te Loon op Zand. J. Maas hoorde slechts drie weken voor het huwelijk van het feit dat C.A. v.d. Linden een voorkind had. Toch is het huwelijk doorgegaan en heeft hij G.M. v.d. Linden erkend door het huwelijk waardoor deze vanaf dat moment de naam Maas ging voeren.
