In ieder geval woonde zij met de kinderen in 1965 in Ede naar aanleiding van een briefkaart gericht aan haar schoonvader (oom Henk), waarin zij dankt voor de ontvangst van het boek van haar schoonvader, dat handelt over informatie van het geslacht Severijn en aangetrouwden (voor zover toen mogelijk bij hem bekend). Zij noemt in de briefkaart haar man Hans en één van haar zonen Gé (Gerrit Hendrik).
Hans was in die tijd nog absoluut in militaire dienst.
