Itte/Idoberge, geb. 592, gest. 8 mei 652, abdes van Nivelles, zij had drie kinderen bij Pepijn de Oude, Grimoald, die later de functie van zijn vader zou bekleden,
Begga (zie 17) en Gertrude, later abdes van Nivelles, na de dood van haar man wijdde ze zich met haar jongste dochter aan de kerk, ontmoette in 647
St. Amand die haar aanraadde een klooster te stichten, waarop Itte het klooster van Nivelles stichtte dat sterk onder de invloed van de ierse school stond,
haar dochter werd haar directe opvolgster in 652.
Ook de stichting van het klooster van Hamage werd op deze wijze door St. Amand bepaald, (vgl. 419), zijn grote invloed illustrerend
