John Adrian Casadaban died peacefully at his home on March 6, 2011, age 84. He was born on September 21, 1926 to the late Anita Rose Lassalle and Emile Reme Casadaban. Brother of Cyprian Casadaban, Eugene Casadaban, Anita Casadaban De Harde, the late Marie Louise Casadaban Ahrens and the late Anna May Casadaban Margiotta. Beloved husband of Dolores Anna Poche Casadaban for 62 years. Father of Adrianne Casadaban Cataline (Craig), Annette Casadaban Gabler (Edward), Kay Casadaban Marlowe(Burt), Emile John Casadaban (Shelia), James Jim John Casadaban (Mary Kay), Donna Casadaban Lowe and the late Malcolm John Casadaban; grandfather of Hollie Gabler Filce (Richard), Heather Gabler LeBlanc (Bryan), Kasey Chappelle Dinolt (Ben), Charles Gabe Gabler (Alana), Rachel Cataline, Brooke Casadaban, Jonathan Marlowe (Brandi),Neil Cataline, Taylor Casadaban, Sister Bon Secours (Emily Casadaban), Kimberley Schroder, Leigh Casadaban, Elizabeth Marlowe, James Casadaban, Jr., Jesse Casadaban, Andrew Casadaban, Tori Casadaban, Katie Casadaban, Allison Lowe, Jamie Casadaban, Nicholas Lowe and Jarrod Lowe; great-grandfather of Landry Filce, Mary Margaret Filce, Collin LeBlanc, Hayes Gabler, Henry Filce, Brianna LeBlanc, and Evan Gabler.
He began his woodworking career at Higgins Shipyard building landing crafts which he later piloted in the Navy. John was a veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific and the Okinawa Conflict. Upon return from the war he continued his woodworking career and soon started JC Cabinet Shop, which he operated for 30 years.
