Petrus, getrouwd met Johanna Hendrika Jansen en hun beide zonen Boelo en Hendrik Jan hebben in de Roggestraat te Arnhem gewoond. In mei 1923 is het gezin verhuisd naar De Steeg, gem. Rheden. Hun derde zoon Jan en mijn schoonmoeder zijn in De Steeg geboren. In maart 1934 is het gezin verhuisd naar Ede en in juli 1936 naar Doetinchem. De verhuizingen waren werk gerelateerd en Petrus heeft zich altijd met fotografie beziggehouden en maakte o.a. pasfotos aan huis waar hij ook een zogenoemde doka had. Petrus gebruikte in zijn advertenties de naam van zijn vader die als fotograaf en portretschilder naam had gemaakt. Overigens verstond Petrus dat laatste vak ook.
Onder zijn persoonlijke gegevens staat vermeld dat hij in Lichtenvoorde is overleden. Dit moet echter Harreveld zijn. Weliswaar is hij tijdens een Engelse luchtaanval in Lichtenvoorde gewond geraakt en vervolgens naar het Sint Vincentius opvoedingsgesticht gebracht dat op het einde van WO II (sept. 1944 mei 1946) was ingericht als evacuatieziekenhuis / noodhospitaal. Hier is hij na 6 weken aan tyfus overleden.
