(Walraven Pieck sloot in 1480 een overeenkomst met Henrick van Munster, om de blokhuizen en ambtmannie van Beesd en Rhenoy op naam van de jonge Hertog Carel "zorgvuldig te bewaren". Zijn broer Gijsbert, ontevreden dat zijn vader aan Walraven te veel had nagelaten en dat hij Hertog Carel was toegedaan, nam Walraven gevangen en stelde hem in bewaring van zijn broeder Cornelis. Walraven stierf in december 1492/1493 ongehuwd in de gevangenis van zijne broeders en werd daar op Sint Jansdag dood gevonden. Hij liet een natuurlijke zoon na Frederik genaamd toen 7 of 8 jaar oud)
