In een akte Archief Huis Verwolde 556-5 staat het volgende: 'de Hoog geborene vrou Margarethe E Ripperda vrou van t Weldam etc ter eener en de Hoogh Geborenen Heer Willem H C Ripperda Heer van Verwolde etc ter andere zijde', de hele indelingvan de goederen van beide zijden is onderdeel van het huwelijkscontract gesloten in september 1711. Dit huwelijkscontract ligt tevens in het Archief Borg Farmsum, 619-511, gedateerd 1711.
