Nicolaus Gelshorn, Vollerbe Schnettberg in Holsten durch Einheirat geboren in in Hickingen, getauft r.-k. am 29.07.1657 Kirchspiel St. Johann Osnabrück heiratete mit 28 Jahren am 27.11.1685 in Bissendorf Catharina Schnetberg geboren in Holsten, r.-k. getauft in Bissendorf. Sie lebten auf dem Hof Schnetberg in Holsten Mündrup im Bezirk Osnabrückund führen auch diesen Namen. Die beiden bekamen 6 Kinder:

1. Sohn Nicolaus Eberhard geb. in Holsten get. in Bissendorf am 05.10.1687

2. Sohn Matthias Heinrich geb. in Holsten get. in Bissendorf am 09.09.1690

3. Sohn Johann Gerhard, geb. in Holsten get. in Bissendorf am 10.06.1694 gestorben am 29.04.1695 in Holsten und in Bissendorf beerdigt.

Nicolaus Gelshorn starb in Holsten, vom Schlag getroffen, er wurdeam 25.07.1736 in Bissendorf bestattet. Er war 40 Jahre im Kirchenvorstand Bissendorf tätig. Catharina Schnetberg , starb ebenfalls in Holsten und auch sie wurde in Bissendorf bestattet. Ihr Todestag ist nicht bekannt.

Die Vollerbenstelle Gelshorn lag im Kirchspiel ST. Johann Osnabrück in der Bauerschaft Hickingen, Grundherr war das Domkapitel. Heutiger Besitzer ist A. E. Frintrop

Das Domkapitel war auch Grundherr des Vollerbenhofes Schnetberg in Holsten im Kirchspiel Bissendorf. Heute ist es die Hofstätte von Heinrich Nölker.
