Hij liet dan weten dat hij van seks hield, maar dan wel seks uit liefde en niet voor de wedstrijd. Mur liet ons veel lopen. En als voetballers ergens een hekel aan hebben, dan is het aan lopen. Ik was jong en wilde nog wel, maar als je tijdens het rondjes lopen wat te hard ging, werd je teruggefloten door de routiniers uit de groep, doelman Siep de Jong voorop. 'Hé, pas op de plaats!', riep hij dan. Het gebeurde ook geregeld dat er per ongeluk een bal in een sloot werd geschoten, waardoor een speler even wat rust kon pakken.
