Beroep:bankwerker bij huwelijk, hij vestig hij zich 1918 vanuit Zaandam naar Enkstraat 17 te Deventer, daarna Boxbergerweg 41/151 te Deventer. Hij wordt na zijn huwelijk broodbezorger bij de Cooperatie te Deventer. Hobby: Bestuurslid van de Partij van de Arbeid, lid Damclub, regelde allerlei verlotingen voor de partij en div. clubs. Reinier was een vrolijke man, zeer fanatiek wat betreft de Partij van de Arbeid. De strijdliederen waarmee de VARA haar ochtendprogramma altijd begon klonken keihard door zijn huis. Daarna mocht de radio pas weer zachter. Was een strenge vader voor zijn beide dochters en een jaloerse echtgenoot. Toen hij niet meer werkte zorgde hij grotendeels voor de huishouding,want zijn vrouw had een zwakke gezondheid. Na haar overlijden en 45 jaar huwelijk ging hij tot ongenoegen van zijn beide dochters al heel snel op zoek naar een vrouw. Via contactadvertenties leerde hij een aardige Amsterdamse kennen waarmee hij later trouwde. Met haar vertrok hij naar Weesp , Tuinkade 38 boven,en later naar een bejaardentehuis in Wervershoof.
