1749-1780. Siegfried Georg Kortüm, geb. zu Brohm 1721 März 23,Brudersohn des vorigen. Sein Vater Joachim Dietrich war Administratorder Schwerinschen und Dewitzschen Güter, seine Mutter hieß Anna Sofiavon Rollmann. Nach Absolvierung der Schule zu Friedland und derUniversität Rostock 1739/40 ward er 1749 11. p. Tr. durch P.Rudolphi=Friedland ordiniert. Nach einer Familienüberlieferung ist erHeld folgender Episode. Mit seinem Patron lebte er in großerFeindschaft. Um so mehr überraschte es ihn, als er eines Tages von ihmzum Essen eingeladen wurde. Er witterte Unheil und steckte einegeladene Pistole zu sich. Von dem Patron freundlich empfangen undbewirtet, schämte er sich seines Argwohns. Doch sollte er Bestätigungfinden. Nach dem Essen lud ihn sein Wirt freundlich ein, nach seinemZimmer zu kommen, um eine Pfeife zu rauchen. Allein kaum waren siedort, verriegelte der Patron die Tür, ergriff einen bereitstehendenEichenknüppel und machte Miene, ihn durchzubläuen, indem er ihmzurief: Verfluchter Pfaffe, kennst du Mosis Stab?" Kortüm hatteinzwischen seine Pistole aus dem Stiefelschacht gezogen und entgegneteruhig: "Halt, Junker, kennst du Aarons Räucherfaß?" Der Junkererbleichte und soll offene Gewalttat gegen seinen Pastor nicht wiederversucht haben. - Kortüm starb 1780 Juli 6. Er war verheiratet mit 1.Anna Dorothea Delbrück, 2. Sofia Doroth. Rosina Dittmann, 3. JohannaSofia Berlin, å in Friedland 1829 Jan. 10, 89 1/2 Jahr alt. Unterseinen Kindern: 1. Ludeloff, P. zu Kublank; 2. Joh. Christ. Paschen,P. in Neubrandenburg; 3. Carl Siegfried, s. Nachfolger; 4. Carl,Syndikus in Friedland; 5. Friederike, geb. 1774, å 1837, cop. HeinrichSchaller, Uhrmacher in Friedland; 6.
