Uit het eerste huwelijk stamden 5 kinderen. De huwelijksakte van Willemina en Jan Willem is een beetje raar. Er staat namelijk letterlijk: comparanten verklaren als hun kind te erkennen een kind van het vrouwelijk geslacht genaamd Hendrika Willemina, geboren te Heerde op een Augustus 1896 uit de comparante Willemina Heres. Deze regels zijn echter direct uit de huwelijksakte geschrapt. Hendrika Willemina ben ik verder nergens meer tegengekomen.
