Willemina Heres huwde op 1 februari 1912 met Jan Willem Fijn, geboren op 21 maart 1873 te Kampen, meesterknecht bij een sigarenfabriek, weduwnaar van Grietje de Groot overleden op 28 december 1910. Uit het eerste huwelijk stamden 5 kinderen. De huwelijksakte van Willemina en Jan Willem is een beetje raar. Er staat namelijk letterlijk: comparanten verklaren als hun kind te erkennen een kind van het vrouwelijk geslacht genaamd Hendrika Willemina, geboren te Heerde op een Augustus 1896 uit de comparante Willemina Heres. Deze regels zijn echter direct uit de huwelijksakte geschrapt. Hendrika Willemina ben ik verder nergens meer tegengekomen.
