Notes about Wouter van Dinther

Wouter werd geboren op 19 juni 1828 te Vught. Wouter huwde maar liefst 3 maal en is zijn hele leven arbeider geweest. Volgens een certificaat van de Nationale Militie van de Provincie Noord-Brabant uit 1847 is hij vrijgesteld geweest om zijn dienstplicht te vervullen in verband met lichamelijke gebreken. Of deze gebreken verband houden met zijn vroege overlijden, 44 jaar, is niet bekend. Zijn eerste huwelijk was met Mechelina Damen, meerderjarige dochter van wijle Hendrik Damen en Wilhelmina van den Oetelaar. Mechelina is geboren te Helvoirt op 10 oktober 1827. Zij huwde Wouter in Vught op 8 oktober 1853. Zij schonk hem drie kinderen. 1 zoon en 2 dochters. Mechalina was van beroep dienstmeid en woonde in Vught. Zij overleed op 31 jarige leeftijd op 22 mei 1859 in Vught op de Vlaschmeer wijk B nr. 117. Triest detal is dat amper 20 dagen later hun zoontje Johannes, nog geen 4 maanden oud, Wouter ook ontviel. Zijn 2e huwelijk was op 20 januari 1860 in Vught, een klein half jaar na het overlijden van Mechelina. Wouter is dan 33 jaar. Hij moet hiervoor wel een bewijs van overlijden van zijn eerste vrouw overleggen. Zijn nieuwe echtgenote is Adriana van den Biggelaar, dochter van wijlen Martinus van den Biggelaar en Maria Hendrina Groenendaal. Adriana is geboren in St. Michielsgestel op 16 april 1828 en was voor haar huwelijk arbeidster te Vught. Uit dit huwelijjk komen 5 kinderen voort. Ruim na 1 jaar huwelijk kregen de beide echtelieden 2 tegenslagen te verwerken in korte tijd. Op 4 maart 1861 overlijd dochtertje Johanna, uit het eerste huwelijk, op 6 jarige leeftijd. Een maandlater overlijd het eerste kind van hun huwelijk, Mechelina, op 14 april 1861, genoemd naar Wouters eerste vrouw. Adriana overlijd op 16 januari 1868 te Vught om 05:00 uur. Zeer opmerkelijk is dat op dezelfde dag en hetzelfde tijdstip haar anderhalf oude zoontje ook overleden is. Mogelijk kan hier sprake zijn van een misdaad of een ongeluk. Zijn 3e huwelijk was op 40 jarige leeftijd. Het was nog maar amper 4 maanden terug dat hem zowel zijn 2e vrouw als als zijn zoontje hem waren ontvallen. Het 3e huwelijk vond plaats op 15 mei 1868 te Vught. Zijn derde echtgenote werd de 31 jarige Helena van de Looij, geboren in Best op 30 september 1836. Dochter van wijlen Joanna van de Looij. De vader wordt niet vermeld. Helena was werkzaam als dienstmeid en woonde in Vught. Na haar huwelijk met Wouter bleef zij in Vught wonen. Wouters vader, Anthony, dan 70 jaar oud, maakt ook het 3e huwelijk van zijn zoon mee en zou dezelfde zoon nog 2 jaar overleven. Ook uit dit huwelijk kwamen kinderen voort. Wouter was werkzaam als arbeider bij Grasso Den Bosch. Hij overleed op 24 oktober 1872 om 20:00 uur.
