Er is een originele brief aanwezig van EGBERT gedateerd 13 augustus 1941 waar in hij schrijft dat zij, EGBERT en HILDA, van uit Nw. Weerdinge (Siepelveen) gefietst hebben naar Apeldoorn. In de brief sluit hij tevens de trouwfoto.

HILDA is na het overlijden van EGBERT gehuwd met ALBERT HOMMES.
