In het doopboek van de Marinikerk te Franeker:
1789 July 1. Het zoontje van de vroedman Jillert Jellema en Antje Ferwerda hier geboren den 24 juny 1789 genaamd Dirk, getuigen is kints vader.
Volgens familieaantekeningen bij de Tantes werd Aaltje geboren 24 Maart 1793. Zij trouwden 29 Mei 1812 te Harlingen en moet gefortuneerd geweest zijn. Dirk Jillerts was Ijzerkoopman als zijn vader te Franeker in hetzelfde perceel als deze op de Voorstraat.
Van haar is een portret in olieverf bewaard bij de nichten Jellema Voorstraat Franeker.
Zij hadden o.m. de volgende kinderen:
1.Jillert Dirks Jellema geb. 17 Febr 1813 overl. 11 Nov. 1877
2.Dirk Dirks Jellema geb. 1 Juli 1819
3.Aaltje Dirks Jellemageb. 1817 overl. 1833
4.Antje Dirks Jellema geb. 20 Nov. 1821 en overl. 11 Juni 1860
5.Immigje (Emma) Jellemageb. 28 Febr 1832 overl. 1864
