Klaas en Beth hebben ook in Abbekerk gewoond. Hadden daar een kruidenierwinkeltje en Klaas verkocht daarnaast in Abbekerk e.o. petroleum aan de deur. Hij had hiervoor een handkar met een groot vat erop, waaruit getapt werd.
Later zijn ze naar de Weere verhuisd.
Het winkeltje, in Abbekerk, is volgens de overlevering, overgegaan naar tante Geer en ome Willem Kooij. Mogelijk is de oude foto nr. 29, in boekje; Abbekerk deel 1, hierop van toepassing.
Het huisje, in de Weere, staat er nu in 2007 nog (gerenoveerd). Adres is; Driestedenweg 50.
Het bestaan van de oliekar, heb ik vernomen van Eltje en Toos en zij zorgden tijdens de reunie van okt. 1996, dat deze oliekar als decor diende voor alle foto's van de familiegroepen.
