Notes about Lieuwe Jacobs Vellenga

Hun zoon Lieuwe trouwde met Antje de Jong op 21-5-1887 te Dantumadeel. Zij overleed echter ook al snel op 24-9-1892. Ze hadden intussen drie kinderen gekregen: Jacob (1889), Amarenske (1890) en Sybren (1891). Lieuwe hertrouwde vervolgens met haar tweelingzus Trijntje. Hun zoon Anske stierf op 9-8-1901 op de leeftijd van 2 maanden. Toen hun zoon Klaas Vellenga tro­uwde met Maa­ike Poo­rtinga kwam hij in bezit van de boerderij van de vader van Maaike. Het bedrijf liep echter niet goed en ging over naar een broer van Klaas.
