    Fredericus trouwde met Margaretha van der Linden. Na haar overlijden huwde hij Anna Maria Thijssen ( weduwe van Henricus Marinus Reuvers). Zij kregen vijf kinderen. Een geallieerd vliegtuig, aangeschoten, verloor op 14 februari 1941 de bommenlast boven het Waterkwartier. Vader en moeder Van Doren kwamen samen met hun twee zoons Antoon en Gerard om het leven. De drie dochters, Greet( zwaargewond), Marie en Annie overleefden. Ook de weduwe Graat-van den Dobbelsteen uit de Roerstraat kwam om tezamen met haar beide zonen. Het aangeschoten vliegtuig kwam waarschijnlijk neer in Plasmolen, waar een vader en moeder met hun dochtertje zwaar gewond raakten en in het Canisiusziekenhuis overleden.
