Anna Maria Thijssen, roepnaam: Annemarie, was eerder getrouwd geweest met Henricus Marinus Reuvers, welk huwelijk was ontbonden door het overlijden van deze echtgenoot. Op 29 januari 1920 trouwde zij in Nijmegen met Frederikus van Doren, die daar was geboren op 6 december 1887. Samen met de heer Reuvers had zij drie kinderen gekregen; met de heer Van Doren had zij twee zonen.
Annemarie van Doren-Thijssen verloor met haar man en twee zonen het leven bij de bominslagen in het Waterkwartier op 14 februari 1941. Drie dochters, Greet (zwaargewond), Annie en Marie, bleven in leven. Zie de tekst bij Frederikus van Doren.
