    Het huwelijk tussen Johann Friedrich Pilger en Sabina Hellmandel is tussen 1802 en 1806 ontbonden. In juni 1802 ging Sabine Hellmandel in Straatsburg wonen. Ze had een buitenechtelijke verhouding gekregen met Franz Ferdinand Ludwig von Hessert, een collega van haar eerste man Martin Heinrich Friedrich Pilger. In 1806 trouwde ze in Straatsburg met Von Hessert. Dat tweede huwelijk bleef kinderloos. De huwelijksakte van F. F. H. von Hessert van 15-1-1823 vermeldt, dat zijn eerste vrouw Sabina Hellmandel is overleden op 2-6-1822 ( Akte 17, blz. 10/37, Strasbourg 1823). Uit het kerkboek van Straatsburg blijkt echter, dat ze is overleden op 2-7-1822.
