Camille Aurore Ducazan wordt omschreven als een zeer rijke vrouw. Zij was een nicht van de "receiver-general". Ze wordt ook wel aangeduid als "Madame Hullmandel".
"In Paris, he married Camille Aurore Ducazan, niece of the Receiver-General of France. She appears to have been a person of some means and, at the time of their marriage, had a sizeable estate at La Roche Guyon, which lies on the Seine about half-way between Paris and Rouen. These circumstances probably explain why the couple left France.
The couple settled in London, presumably in Queen Street, Mayfair, where Charles Joseph is recorded as having been born on 15 June 1789, a month before the fall of the Bastille. In London Nicolas-Joseph continued to practise as a musician, though mainly as performer and teacher. Later, and certainly by 1816, the family was living at 51 Great Marlborough Street, in the premises where Charles Joseph was to set up his lithographic press."
"After his marriage to Camille Ducazan, the daughter of a highly placed 'ancien régime' court official, Hüllmandel had "acquired a very great fortune and lived in splendid style". Hüllmandel seems to have continued his life of ease in England. He ceased performing and was apparently able to maintain two establishments."
She is married to Nicolas-Joseph Hüllmandel.
They got married in the year 1787 at Parijs, she was 27 years old.Source 2
