Johan Reesink heeft het boerenbedrijf van zijn schoonvader verder uitgebreid. De klompenmakerij kreeg hierdoor minder betekenis. De boerderij lag aan de Hoogstraat 14 in Toldijk, gemeente Steenderen. Johan Reesink is op 30 mei 1967 op 81-jarige leeftijd overleden, Jantje Jansen is op 23 september 1953 door een auto-ongeluk om het leven gekomen, zij werd 61 jaar.Source 3
