Jantje is een dochter van Jenneken Wilgenhof en Teunis Reesink en is op 1 oktober 1881 geboren op boerderij het Sellegoed in Oeken. Johan Bel was zelfstandig timmerman. Na hun trouwen vestigen zij zich op 1 juni 1912 in Zelhem. Johan is vroeg overleden waardoor het huwelijk kinderloos bleef. Jantje Bel-Reesink heeft jaren in Zutphen gewoond waar ze afgezonderd van de familie in eenzaamheid in een pension is overleden. Zij was het 4 jaar jongere zusje van opa Johan Reesink. (Geb. 27- 10-1885.) De moeder van Jansje (Jenneken dus) is op 13 september 1916 overleden. Zij deelde dus in de zorgen van haar dochter en het overlijden van haar man.
