Elizabeth : De doodskist van haar man Cornelis werd langs haar bed gedragen, omdat zij nog in het kraambed lag.
En kon zij zo toch nog afscheid nemen van haar man.
Elizabeth had ook last van een 'wandelende' nier.
Elisabeth woonde eerder op Ruigoord, in de Houtrakpolder, bij het kerkje op de hoek, met een tuintje met goudsbloemen.
Het was 2 uur lopen vanaf dochter Geertje bij de Hembrug, de hele IJpolder door, 't pontje over, en dan nog een eind over de dijk tot Halfweg, aan de Middenweg naar beneden naar het Kerkje.
