Notes about Hans Brandt

Hans is scheepswerktuigkundige. Hij werkte bij de Nationale Woningraad. Ook was hij direkteur binnen de gemeente Amsterdam van een aannemings en installatie bedrijf.
De hele familie is heel sportief : zeilen,surfen,schaatsen,wielrennen.
Hans was marathonschaatser in het A peloton en was 15 jaar voorzitter van het Marathon schaatsen binnen de KNSB. Ook heeft hij verschillende keren de Elfstedentocht gereden, Sjoerd en Martijn 1x. Hans zeilde in een Finnjol op internationaal niveau.
Hij zat 21 jaar in het bestuur van de Stichting Sail Amsterdam en ontving hiervoor de Frans Banninck Cocq penning.
Ook is hij ridder in de Orde van Oranje Nassau.
Nu houdt hij zich bezig met 2 A-Fords van 1929 + 1930, schapen, kippen en ganzen.
