Dr. Pybo van Doma was secretaris van de staten van Friesland (1651-1666) en raadsheer bij het Hof van Friesland (1666-1675).

Pibo van Doma echter begon op grond van zijn recht van naasting wegens bloedverwantschap een procedure, die hem in 1666 eigenaar maakte van het geheel der "zathe, state en landen Veenklooster genaamd, behoorende onder Oudwoude, groot ongeveer 158 pdm., mitsgaders de groote nieuwe huizinge, toren, wijnhuis, put, poort, twee hovingen, bleekveld en gracht mitsgaders de meijershuizinge, schuur, hovinge en kooi, ieder pondemate van 118 G.gld. De huizingen hieronder begrepen en dus tezamen voor f 26101,60"

Het is niet zeker, dat Pibo van Doma tussen 1666 en zijn dood in 1675 op Fogelsangh State heeft gewoond, daar als zijn woonplaats wordt opgegeven Tadema State onder Kollum.
