RAU-35-219 d.d. 26-4-1719: Na zijn overlijden worden curatoren benoemd over zijn minderjarige kinderen Jan Murks, in het 22 jaar, en Pieter Murks, in het 19e jaar; dit zijn Ids Jans, zijn zwager, en Tjerk Tjepkes, mr.timmerman te Sybrandaburen. Op verzoek van Jan en Pieter wordt de voogdij beëindigd op 30-5-1726 wegens meerderjarigheid.
