Notes about Aaltje Berends

In de doopakte van het oudste kind Johan Everhardt staat het volgende vermeld. Johan Philip Hinderks Jerch (overigens in alle aktes staat Jerch met een kleine j) is soldaat in Campagne van de overste Balfour. De overste heeft dan nog geen toestemming gegeven voor het huwelijk met Aaltje Berents, de moeder van Johan Everhardt. Het feit dat geen toestemming was gegeven voor het huwelijk heeft waarschijnlijk ertoe geleid dat Johan Philip Hinderks Jerch en Aaltje Berends nimmer zijn getrouwd. Voor de kerk hadden zij 'in zonde' een kind verwekt. Al hun kinderen werden overigens wel gedoopt.
Uit de trouwakte van Marie Lijs Georg (Maria Philippus) blijkt dat Aaltje Berends (evenals Johan Philip Hinderks Jerch) dan al is overleden. In de trouwakte van Marie Lijs Georg staat vermeld dat Aaltje Berends daglooner was te Harkstede en aldaar is overleden.
