In de overlijdensakte van zijn dochter Johanna Eistede (familienaam ook geschreven als: Eijsteder) wordt vermeld dat zij een dochter is van Jurrien Eisteder (overleden te Deventer) en Janna Takens (overleden te Groningen). Bij het huwelijk met Janna Takens luiden de namen van de vader van Johanna Eistede: Georg Eichstedter. Tevens wordt vermeld dat hij afkomstig is uit Hooghausen in Frankenland (thans het noordelijk deel van Beieren). Georg Eichstedter is soldaat in de compagnie van de majoor Hixenius in 't eerste bataillon van de Colonel Aeronius.
Het lijkt dat bruid en bruidegom twee keer voor de kerk zijn getrouwd: op 8 februari 1762 voor de rooms-katholieke kerk en een dag later voor de protestantse kerk. De namen worden dan iets anders geschreven: Georgius Eysstetter en Joanna Takens.
