Edske Foppes (1915) schrijft: Mijn oudere neef JOHAN LONSAIN (geb. 1894,+ 19 Maart 1965), enige zoon van Titia Foppes en Arie Jan Lonsain, leerde niet zo vlot. Hij trouwde met een meisje “met geld”, ALIE MULDER, een flinke maar wat parmantige vrouw of beter gezegd “dame”.Met haar hulp (zowel qua geld als bedrijfsleiding) heeft hij een aantal jaren het bekende hotel DE WERELD geexploiteerd. Toen werd hij plotseling fabrikant aan de Zaan, waar hij directeur werd van een fabriek van cacaoboter, die jaren later is opgebrand. Een familierelatie van Alie Mulder had nl. een cacaofabriek aan de Zaan, ene Kamphuis,-----wier beide zonen later bij een vliegongeluk om het leven zijn gekomen en via die relatie werd Johan manager. Of hij als zodanig veel kwaliteiten had ,weet ik niet. Hij was altijd een wat mopperige man, die vond dat de wereld de verkeerde kant opging. Zijn lijfblad was de Telegraaf.
