Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Ardith; his children, Julie (Peter) Embalabala, Jill (Randy) Veldkamp, Mark (Dawn) Van Sledright, Mike (Sheri) Van Sledright; 17 grandchildren; his brothers and sister, Adrian (Flo) Van Sledright, Raymond (Loraine) Van Sledright, Richard (Ruth) Van Sledright, Martha Van Sledright, Henry Van Sledright (Shirley - deceased). Private family services will be held. Interment in Fort Custer National Cemetery. The family was assisted
