    De zoon van Arij Cornelisz heet Cornelis Ariens Jongejan, is geboren in Alkmaar ca. 1697 en was in de periode tussen 1725 en 1739 molenaar van de korenmolen in Piershil. De "wind-coornmole" was eigendom van de weduwe Hendrik Pelt, heer van Piershil. Zoon Cornelis Ariens gaat het bepaald niet voor de wind; zijn vader moet een aantal keren borg staan voor de huur van de molen. Bij  zijn dood in 1739 (42 jaar) laat Cornelis Ariens Jongejan een huurschuld achter, die zijn weduwe Maria Pieters van der Velde maar ten dele kan voldoen. "Verdere huur wegens armoede niet geïnd".
