dr van Albert Wissink en Johanna Wilhelmina Pasman.

Jo Wissink woonde op de Piet Heinstraat 58 in Nijmegen, en was tot op dat moment dienstmeid (keukenhulp) geweest. Eerst bij de familie van Aalst, op het huis Valmonte (later een hotel geworden), een echtpaar met een zoon, een soort eeuwige student. Er is nog een dekenkist met in het deksel met potlood geschreven ....

Het tweede adres was bij twee dames van Walree, nazaten van een dakpannenfabrikant. Waarschijnlijk was een van de twee dames Emilie Cornelie Wilhelmina Walree-Gobee (28-09-1839, 14-03-1922), als schrijfster bekend onder het pseudoniem Christine Muller. In een telefoongids van 1915 stond zij als Mevr, Wed. D.C. Walree-Gobee, met telefoonnummer 793, en adres Bergendalseweg 28, Nijmegen. Volgens een getuigschrift van September 1922 heeft Jo Wissink daar naar volle tevredenheid vier-en-een-half jaar gewerkt, en hield het dienstverband op doordat het huishouden ophield te bestaan. Dit getuigschrift is geschreven door Mej. H.C. van Walree, mogelijk haar dochter, Hester Caroline van Walree (21-08-1876).
