Judge Jansonius attended the public schools of Butler County, and GravesAcademy; being graduated from the latter in 1897. Following he took abusiness course in Highland Park College, Des Moines, Iowa. He did alittle farming for his father. During 1898-1900 he attended theUniversity of North Dakota as a student of the law college, from which hewas graduated in 1904, with the de Gree of Bachelor of Laws. In 1904 hewas admitted to the bar of North Dakota, and began the practice of law atBowdon, N.D. There he remained for the succeeding six years. and duringthree and one-half years of that period he was postmaster, but resignedthat office in 1910, at which time he was elected judge of the WellsCounty Court, and removed to Fessenden, North Dakota, the county seat.
