Died in Hospital at Rochester, Minn.
Mrs. Ebel Abbas, who was taken to a Rochester, Minn. Hospital, within the past week, suffering from gallstones, died there at an early hour Tuesday morning, following an operation.
She was in her 58th year and is survived by her husband and seven [Note: nine surviving children are listed below] children. Burial and funeral services to be held in Ackley. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heitland, also deceased.
Funeral Thursday afternoon at St. Peter's church in Grant Township. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Anna, eight sons, Herman, Melle, George, Joe, Henry, Abel Jr., Leo, and Harvey, all living near Ackley, one brother, Henry M. Heitland living east of Ackley, one half-brother, Engelke Stubbe, living near Robertson, and five sisters, Mrs. Herman Sluter, Mrs. John Frerichs, Mrs. Fred Aldinger, all of Ackley, Mrs. Richard Heitland of Willow Lake, South Dakota, and Mrs. Adolph D. Bauer of Clarksville.
