1413480684  Dirk III “Hierosolomyta” van Holland, geb. ca.981, ovl. 27-05-1039, begr. Egmond in de abdijkerk. Graaf v. Holland (993-1039), aanvankelijk onder voogdij van zijn moeder. Koloniseerde ca.1018 de Riederwaard en vestigde een tol aan de Merwede tot ongenoegen van de kooplieden van Tiel. Bisschop Adalbold II van Utrecht riep daarop de hulp in van keizer Hendrik II doch het keizerlijk leger onder Godfried van Neder-Lotharingen en de bisschop werd bij Vlaardingen door Dirk III verslagen. Dirk IIImaakte een bedevaart naar Jeruzalem. Hij steunde na 1024 Koenraad II in de strijd om het Duits koningschap. Geh. met:

1413480685  Othilde van de Noordmark, geb. ca.985, ovl. 09-05-1044 in het klooster Quedlinburg in Saksen, waarnaar zijals weduwe terugkeerde.
