1061245032  Dirk VI van Holland, geb. ca.1103, ovl. 05-08-1157, begr. Egmond in de abdijkerk. Graaf v. Holland (1121-1157). Doet samen met zijn gemalin vele schenkingen aan Egmond en onderneemt een tocht naar het Heilige Land (1139). Weet Rijnland bij Holland in te lijven en kan sinds 1151 via zijn schoonmoeder aanspraak doen gelden op Midden-Friesland, hetgeen tot een conflict met de bisschop van Utrecht leidt. Wordt kort voor zijn dood vanwege een conflict om de kerk te Vlaardingen door de abt van Egmond in de ban gedaan. Geh. ca.1131 met:

1061245033  Sophia van Salm Rheineck, geb. ca.1115, ovl. 26-09-1175 Jeruzalem, ondernam drie tochten naar het Heilige Land, ging 1173 als weduwe van de graaf op bedevaart naar Santiago de Compostella met haar zoon Otto van Benthem en IJsbrand van Haarlem, werd op deze tocht door rovers overvallen en met een mes bedreigd.
