Van deze Digna zijn meerdere schrijfwijzen van haar achternaam bekend in de archieven: VAN SILST, VAN SILTS, VAN FILTH, en VAN SILS. Ook wordt ze eerst beschreven als geboren te Etten, maar een enkele bron noemt ook Princenhage als geboorteplaats. Ze woont ten tijde van het huwelijk in ieder geval in Princenhage, of 'Hage' zoals het indertijd genoemd werd. Op 24 februari 1726 trouwt ze te Princenhage met haar tweede man, Hendrik Janse van Gils, afkomstig uit Hilvarenbeek. In juni 1738 is ze nog getuige bij een doop.
