Beroep: lakenkoopman en winkelier. Woonde bij zijn dood op het Ginnekenseinde, in het huis 'De Drie Saeijen' of 'De Drie Haeijen'. Achternaam ook geschreven als MARCY, MARCUS, MARX en MARCKX.

Petrus was driemaal getrouwd, en Maria van Aelst was zijn derde vrouw, die hem vijf kinderen baarde; Johanna Xaviera (1671), Petrus (1673, en de tweede zoon genaamd Petrus), Catharina Anna (1675), Antonia (1679) en wederom een Antonia Maria (1682). Zijn eerste vrouw heette Cornelia Peemans (huwelijk op 20 december 1655 te Ginneken), en zij kregen één dochter Anna (1656) en een zoon, Petrus (1661). Het tweede huwelijk was met Cornelia Pieck (30 april 1662 te Breda) en ze kregen twee kinderen: Cornelis (1663) en Laurentius (1665).

In 1688 stond Cornelis borg voor het poorterschap van Breda Hendrick van Achterbroeck, afkomstig uit "Castel in den Barronie van Breda" (Castelré, nabij Baarle-Nassau?). Deze Hendrick is zijn schoonzoon, getrouwd met dochter Joanna.
