Notes about Pieter Noteboom

Hij studeerde eerst wis- en natuurkunde aan de universiteit te Groningen.
In de oorlog zat hij in het verzet, drukte en verspreidde illegale bladen, o.a. "De Schijnwerper" en werd vlak voor of na zijn kandidaatsexamen opgepakt door de Duitsers en 14 Februari 1942 veroordeeld tot 10 jaar tuchthuis in de gevangenis te Siegburg (Dld) In de gevangenis liep hij TBC op en door toeval en hulp van vrienden mocht hij gaan kuren (16 Mei 1944) in het ziekenhuis "Berg en Bosch" in Nederland. Na de oorlog werd hij leraar op de Rijkslandbouwschool te Groningen.
